Desperate times call for desperate measures and in this recession we are always looking for new ways in which we can save a bit of cash. There are so many times in the past that we literally just threw wads of cash down the drain thinking that the good times will last forever and not really budgeting for the eventuality that it will all come to an end at some point. This can seem very depressing but in actual fact it is a blessing in disguise; the fact that we have had our fingers burnt now means that in the future we will have learnt and not make the same mistakes again (at least, that’s the theory!).
